Pain under left shoulder blade after doing pushups

Ok today I was doing some pushups and after I was done the area under my left shoulder blade really started to hurt. All throughout the day the pain stayed and just doing normal movements causes me to feel pain there. I'm wondering if anyone knows what might have happened?

Also this isn't the only time I've felt pain there. I usually feel a this sort of pain temporarily after a a set of bent over barbell rows, where I pull my shoulder blades together. The only difference is this time it's staying for a long time 9+ hrs so far.

it means you only have until tomorrow to live

but one reason that stuff might happen is because you dont warm up your shoulder before you lift, do you? because you should especially if you have a shoulder problem, but try putting ice on it or taking a hot bath with epsom salt, or both
