    Finished Cutting - First Time Posing

    this is me today at 69.5kgs (153lb).

    i cut down from 183lbs, so i am pleased with my results - the poses are very rough as is my first time, hopefully after my bulk i get the technique down a bit better - there is a few double posts of poses as i would forget to flex certain muscles as concentrating on others (whoops )

    please critique and offer any advice on areas for improvement.

    You look really good man. Got any before pics? I bet you feel small, but look in the mirror and feel great huh? I'm cutting right now too, and am about 4-5 weeks away from hitting my goal of 8% bf @ 160 pounds...I'm 5'7.

    yea i dont really have any before pics that show a transition - i kinda avoided them a bit 30lbs ago but i will look for some

    yea i do feel tiny, and everyone says im tiny - my friends have been begging me to bulk for years now as i kinda have a natural tendency towards muscle growth, but i was a bit paranoid about fat and wanted to get as lean as i could before ever thought about bulking up.

    good luck with your cut mate, it gets a bit tough sometimes but keep at it and you will get to where u want to be - it took me a while but i am very happy i decided to stick with it

    i used a TCD (Timed Carb Diet) for the final periods of my cut where i only ate complex carbs pre/post wo

    i train pretty much first thing in the morning so here is a outline of my diet:

    6:15 PreWo - 1 scoop protein, 2 piece wholewheat toast w/ jam+honey
    6:45 Workout - sip on a home-mixed gatorade - 500ml
    8:30 1.5scoop protein
    9:00 1/2cup oats, 1/4cup bran, 1/2 cup skim milk, 3 tsp Jam
    11:00 3/4cup tuna, 1.5cup green beans, 0.5 cup corn or peas, hot sauce
    1:30 Same as above
    4:00 1 cup diced chicken, 2 cups green beans or broccoli
    I go to work from 4:30/8:30 where i stack boxes in a truck and make pallets up - can be very physical which i try to use a source of cardio - also it is a 30min brisk walk to and from work
    7:00 (at work) 1 scoop protein, 14 almonds, celery
    9:30 Final meal a) 2 egg omelet w/ green beans, tuna, tbsp cottage cheese
    b) 3/4 cup cottage cheese, 2 spoons FF yoghurt, 1 tbsp nat. PB

    i take a multi and would supp. with fish and flax oil through the day

    that coems to around 2100kcal - ratio normally around 45% P 25% C 30% F

    most of my carbs as you can see are vegetables tho

    now that diet prolly wasnt perfect, but it seemed to suit my lifestyle with my workout times and employment and was the best i coudl manage on a budget.
    On no workout days, i would sub in a cardio session at the same time and instead of the oatmeal - would have a 3 egg omelet with veggies (cals were generally around 1850 on these days)

    Great job. I'm 5'10" also and around 155. I'm still far from being as lean as you. I will probably end up getting down to 145-147 before I can pull the 7-8% range. Not somthing I'll be proud of,but it will make me feel good around the public pool,but feel scronny with my cloths.I guess I'll always have my CCW piece to make me feel a little more secure...LOL.
    Maybe in the winter I can bulk and put on a good quality 10-12 pounds of muscle for the following summer.

    good luck H&K! get some pics up when u do get to your goal - just keep battling through till the end of the cut, it can get a bit draining but once u get there you will definately feel liek it iwas all worthwhile - then u can look forward to the bulk

    awesome cut mate, u really ripped up.. i prob missed it but how long did it take you to lose the 30lbs? ive cut 25kgs down from 120k and nowhere near as ripped as you, bit of work still to go :s

    i only got serious in late february, and had a few setbacks in the form of w/ends away with friends and night's out that slowed me down a bit, but in the whole i was pretty disciplined throughout - it took me a while to get the pics up (was trying to decide wat camera to buy) so i been maintaining this physique for a week a 2 now

    im slowly up'ing cals before i start my bulk, i cant wait to start seeing some strength gains again cos by the end of this cycle, i was starting to slightly under-perform in my sessions

    thanks guys - i know i am not big by any means, but i wasn't trying to get big, i just HAD to get rid of the fat that i had been carrying for ever. i knew i should prolly eb bulking a bit but couldnt bring myself to do it while i knew there was fat to be lost, might not have been the best long run plan, but i am happy with it atm, now i can aim to gain some mass and hopefully not too much fat, tho i am getting less concerned with that prospect now that i know i am capable of dropping it when i decide to.

    My legs are my weakest point as i really neglected them until recently, sh!t i bench more than i squat but i am working hard to change that around and get some tree trunks happening.

    Are you exhaling on your ab shots?

    It look like you might not be, it makes your abs pop out much more, and you should also be crunched in the midsection a little bit. Try it out.

    Flex your abs first then exhale all the way and look at the changes.

    my strength improved for the majority of the cycle, until the final 4weeks or so when it started to plateau out, then i eventually had to drop 5lbs on chest lifts, was able to stay constant on back except my WG chin numbers which fell slightly - legs were increasing the whole time - due to noob gains.

    i dont have access to a camera atm - so might be a day or 2 before i can get some.

    i was actually a little dissapointed with the way the abs came out, cos i was focusing a bit hard on everything else, i maybe should have tried a 'just ab' kinda male model pose instead of just the mandatory bb'ing ones - ahh well, if i can get the camera again (lent it to my bro) i will get some calf, ab shots - my stomach vein is usually a bit mor epronounced - but i guess all of that comes down to posing technique, i need some prac!

    Do you have a pre cut pic to compare.

    I'm doing a slow cut, have gained some muscle while cutting fat. I have been afraid of losing muscle, but I need to speed up the cutting. Your pics are an ecouragment.

    Still I would like to see some pre-cut pics or some mid-cut pics, 30 pounds is a lot of pounds. Good job
