Question PRE-BED: Cottage Cheese VS MuscleMilk?

Ok pre-bed nutrition is important right, if we wont to keep an anbolic state for 7-8 hrs whilst asleep..

At the moment i am having a bowl of cottage cheese pre-bed and a glass of milk... how would this compare to just taking some MuscleMilk?
And is buying musclemilk worth it for purley pre-bed nutrition?

Solid food (CC) is better always, except preWO/PWO, so I would go with CC if you can do it.

Question Will Cottage Cheese & Milk protein be available long enough?

Will there be the same protein supply in my body while I sleep whether I drink a miscellar protein shake or eat cottage cheese and milk?

Yes, cause most of the protein from cheese, cottage cheese included, is from casein. Plus regular ol milk has ample amounts of casein.

I seriously doubt that when you compare the costs per calorie, or even protein for that mtter, that cottage and milk will be cheaper than muscle milk.

I do both part of my diet coming up. Muscle Milk isn't even expensive....1 tub last the whole month because i only use half scoops. 16g of protein 8 with the skim milk and then 12 from the cottage cheese

    agreed.

i would say go with cottage chees, or a blend of casein, or straight casein, or egg protein, or evopro ALL before even considering muscle milk.

There are better options than Muscle Milk. I recommend Xtreme Formulations Ultra Peptide, Designer Supplements Sustain, or Dorian Yates Approved ProPeptide. All of those are far better options than Muscle Milk.

With that said, my pre-bed meal consists of one of the above protein powders, Hood (low carbohydrate) milk, egg whites, almonds/natural peanut butter, and fibrous vegetables.

I remember back in the day, when Met-Rx first came out, I read an interview or something with the inventor of Met-Rx, Dr. Scott Connelly, where he said that cottage cheese was number one on his list of protein choices because of it's amino acid profile. Might have to give this a try myself...
