    I'm suffering from depression at the moment. I have been ever since my illness a couple years ago, "Celiac's Disease". I have no reason to be depressed, it's just a chemical thing. I've dealt with it real well though, and i've put on great gains in the past year nontheless

    Actually it's an allergy to the protein in wheat products: "Gluten".

    It CAN be heriditary, but in my case it just happened out of the blue. It's not uncommon for Celiac's disease to hit people out of the blue, either.

    I lost about 30 pounds, all muscle, and went down to about 135 at 6 foot 2 inches. Celiac's disease has been known to kill on many occasions, and I was damn lucky I survived, and i'm happy I did of course! That was before I started Bodybuilding too.

    Bodybuilding has helped me overcome the "hard" depression I used to suffer, but I still deal with it on a daily basis. My outlook on life remains great though, as it always has. But as I said earlier, it's really just an extreme case of lack of Seratonin production in my brain. Sucks really, but I know i'll be back to normal(depression wise) in a few years.

    But my allergy to gluten will last my entire life. Gluten's in ALOT of things....pretty much all protein powders(modified corn starch, maltodextrin, Modified anything all contain Gluten)
