    Pain under ribs

Yeah, Just wondering if anyone else experiences this. After I jog for awhile on the treadmill I get a pain directly under my left rib that feels like a really bad cramp. I thought it was one until a week later I started to lightly jog to my friends house and it started hurting crazily again. What could it be? Anyone else have this? It only seems to happen when I start running.

I sometimes have the same problem. Whenever I start running I get a really bad cramp under my rib. Sometimes it is so bad I have to stop running and I can barely walk. I havent ran in a while though.

Probably your spleen... It is engorging with blood due to the inherent stresses of exercise, upon which swelling to over twice its regular size. Its enlargement is impeeching on the surrounding structures and causing compressional pain.

Essentially, one day, your spleen will simply rupture, leaving you permanently immuno-compromised for life. You will die of conditions mimicked by sufferers of full blown AIDS... What a way to go.

Oh... and one other thing - im just kidding.

Seriously, it is almost certainly a breathing problem - causing one of your accessory breating muscles, most likely Serratus Anterior to go into spasm.

Do a google search on how to breath properly while exercising, as i dont have time to explain.

    Cheers
    Good Times

Jesus, you scared the hell outta me, I was flipping.

I think its called stiches or whatever, on google it seems to mimick what Im having. Its weird because I have never had them before, sure I have had cramps but not that bad and not lengthy like that. It is true I just started working out, but its not like ive never ran around with my friends before and stuff.

So how would I go about "fixing it" Do you guys get them from time to time? And how do I get it to stop annoying me, I have tried taking deep breaths when I run but it still hurts. Does it take awhile to go away?
