seriously, you dont know what you should do in a situation like that?...maybe you shouldnt go into the customer service field. evidently most people who work in retail dont know how to handle that either, which is why most customer service sucks.i represent angry, gun-toting, meat-eating ****ing people!

What the hell do you want from me haven't I serve you enough? If you are not satisfied, then get lost. I guess this will do the trick right?
#####Just kidding#####
You calmly ask them what is the matter and drop the attitude that most customer service representatives adopt, where it is never the fault of the company, "BUT" and yes always the big but after they have given you a lecture of how you this and Paul this and Mary that.
It wouldn't kill for once to just say we are sorry sir/madam, it is our fault here is a replacement or we will take care of it.

What I do at my job is 1. apologize formally 2. compensate accordingly 3. always try to keep your cool no matter how angry they are. 4. offer them to speak with your manager. Good luck * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *EDIT: JUST SAW THIS THREAD IS YEARS OLD
