Why are most hairloss threads posted in this part of the entire board?

I mean which supplements are likely to cause hairloss/receding hairline/thinning of hair?

I was combing my hair just now and sis commented that I look like I'm shedding hair at the sides of the temple! I always have a M-shaped hairline. And it did seem to me now that the M is more pronounced. The edges at both sides of the temple look lighter of hair than say other parts of the hairline starting from the sideburns. I don't know but I'm beginning to panic. One thing's for sure, I did not notice that my hair was thinning or any great shedding. My family does not have any history of balding.

I did a search on hairloss/balding on the entire thread (and read close to 20 threads on hairloss) and came across a thread where this guy suggested that Creatine might be making him losing hair. Well, someone else answered that he had the same experience and his hairloss went away a bit after he cycled off Creatine. I just started taking Creatine bout a week ago (not that I'm suggesting it's starting to have effect now, etc). Another thread suggested that too much tuna might cause hairloss cos there's too much mercury in there?

Well, ppl who are experiencing hairloss pls comment. Do you think I'm really starting to lose it or am I just being paranoid?

creatine DOES NOT cause hair loss

You're either psyching yourself out or suffering from regular MPB

If you don't have MPB in your family then don't worry.

People use Prohormones to help speed up the bodybuilding process. You can gain in one cycle (6-8 weeks) what most gain in one year naturally. Some call it cheating, I call it making the best use of your time.

There are several side effects of them that may happen. Some can be avoided and/or masked. Others can not.

Hair loss is caused by DHT buildup, which is prevalent in a lot of the more popular PH's out there... 1-ad, M1T, 5-alpha PH's, M4ohn, etc. But there are a few that won't hurt your hairline (but maybe your wallet).

Nordiol and 1,4 Andro are the 2 that come to mind for hair-conscience people. I am currently running 1,4 Andro and even though it is only the first day... no hair loss to report!

And if you're under 21 (23 i say) then don't even think about using them.

    Thanks! That was some info!

My hairline ain't exactly receding but the sides at the temple do seem to push up slightly higher now. Gee, I hope I'm just hallucinating. Would Rogaine (seems to be recommended everywhere I read on the net and on this board) help? I mean if really my hairline is starting to recede now it's probably at a very early stage and I want to arrest the problem str8 away.

DON'T USE ROGAINE FOR HAIR LOSS PREVENTION ON CYCLE.

Your hair will become dependent on the active chemical "Minoxidil". However, if you feel like you are losing your hair and want to keep as much of it as possible... then I would consult a hair loss specialist. "Dio" is the hair loss guy on this board. But I'd go to a real doctor when it comes down to it.

If it isn't that bad then don't use topical treatments. They are a pain in the ass and you have to do it religously everyday. Talk to a doctor about Propecia.

In my opinion... once it falls out, nothing will really give you a full head of hair short of a transplant.

Well, my hair ain't falling out and I have a thick head of hair. In fact, after washing my hair just now (with shampoo, and messaging the scalp like every other time), I noticed that there weren't many strands of hair all over. It's just that I'm bothered that both sides at the temple might push up higher and higher as time passes. Maybe I'm just being paranoid...
