Anyone tried jeff Nippard's body recomp program? Seems to be the perfect fit for my goals at this point.

No but recomp doesn’t work well for naturals and you don’t need a special program to bulk cut or recomp

Like most of what nippard writes it’s probably all non sense.

What program makes sense for someone looking to do what I want to do then? Is there an example in the Workouts forum on this site? I need something to follow because I don't have the experience needed to know exactly what to do to get to where I want to go.

Recomp would be more about dialing in your nutrition so that you're eating at maintenance cals, getting enough protein, etc. You could run any program that would be suitable for your history of training regardless of the recomp.

You pick your program based on level of advancement ..you’ll need to bulk and cut like every other human.

Novice 6 months - 1 year of real training and proper diet (consistent)

    Intermediate 2+ years

Novice programs are in the stickies. A good
Intermediate program is Lyle McDonald’s GBR.

Recomp goes well for fat people, beginners {not skinny ones} and juiced lifters.

I don't particulary like Nippard, with all his 'according to science' schtick and I probably like Lyle more.

But if were to compare Nippard's Upper Lower with Lyle's GBR, Nippard wins by far.

His program is more complex, he gives a lot of good advices, his exercise selection is good, he has many notes, he has a progression method for each week, he has a warmup protocol.

Lyle's sounds like something that anyone here can come up with: 2 for quads, 2 for hams, 2 for chest/delts, 2 for back, some weak isolation and **** lateral raises because mid delts don't really matter, but hey, you can do 7 sets for calves

Sure, one is paid, one is not, I forget you guys are Americans and don't steal stuff.

I like to learn from the mistakes of the people who take my advice.

I’ve never paid for a program and pretty much do my own programming now for the most part. I looked over his old 5 day full body, the one that rotates push pull legs and fb, and his standard push pull legs. Some of which was posted on lyles group fb page and analyzed there. My motivation to look over programs nowadays is going way down though lol
