    Surplus or just maintenance?

    Hi, im starting workoutting now since i got into the local gym. im doing pretty intense 5 days per week split.
    But i dont know should i just maintenance my weight or do a calorie surplus.
    I am 124lbs, 5'8ft and 15 years old
    and sorry if this is stupid question i just don't want to do something wrong and break myself etc

    Forgot to mention that i have pretty normal metabolism.

    Just eat to appetite. If you don't slowly gain weight over time, you might want to add some extra snacks like an additional PB+J sandwich between meals. That's as complicated as you need to make it at your age
