    consistently inconsistent

Hi friends and fellow gym rats.

So, i'm not very new to the fitness world. I had a good streak of almost three years going, working out at MOST 5 days a week, at LEAST 2, before the apocalypse happened.
Anywho, since then i've had the HARDEST time staying consistent with diet and workouts. There are days i get home from a morning workout, and my body refuses to be hungry until 6- 7 hours later. Obviously not the best situation, but usually, around 10 or so, my brain decides that its time to inhale any and everything i can find.
I've tried just ignoring it, but it's difficult to sleep when all you can think about is how hungry you are. How do you all stay motivated through cravings, inconsistencies and low effort days?

Find a plan that works for you is my best advice. When it comes to diet, I go through phases based on my schedule and my current moods. Very often, I'll switch to Warrior Diet which allows me to eat big at night. Other times, I'll switch to a more traditional bodybuilding 4-5 meals a day thing.

When it comes to training, do the same. If you are losing motivation, switch up the training to something more managable. If I'm losing motivation, I may just do two fullbody (lighter workouts too) focusing on just compounds, or I might just bro train if that feels better.

Unless you're a pro, you don't need to stress things as much. Lots of diets work, lots of training styles work. Do 3 month cycles to keep things interesting, seasonal diets and workouts.

"225, 315, 405 whatever. Yeah these benchmark digits come to mean a lot to us, the few warriors in this arena. They are, however, just numbers. I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel
