Unhappy Herniated disc lower back,MRI done

Hello guys,I have been lifting for a few years and first got injured two years ago,I think it’s probably due to improper form and heavy load when I first started. So since June of 2021,I got myself a home gym and trained with it regularly or routinely and been pressing and pulling relatively heavy. At first I felt my back was very stiff, then after a few month it become weakness or numbness on my left side lowerback. Two month ago,April 2022 I went to a orthopaedic because the numbness and weakness just doesn’t go away and did an MRI,it show L4-L5,L5-S1 herniation which pinched my nerve hence why I feel weakness and numbness. After the doctor appointment,I was told to rest and can only swim…so after two week of rest,I begin bodyweight exercise routine and honestly I do not feel any uncomfortable and pain at all. Then two week ago,I went back to use my home gym,and after just 4 days,I felt slight weakness and numbness on my lowerback,is it because my genetic doesn’t allow me to weight train???Not everyone can be Arnold/Phil health.

I am pretty sure my form nowadays is pretty good and this time my load is moderate compared to what I lift half a year ago…

My question is since I am using moderate weight now and I train for shorter period, will my body adjust back to normal???When I do bodyweight there was a day or two I feel numb, after a week of bodyweight,I don’t feel the numb anymore???Is it lying to myself that my boys will sort of adjust or adapt to the weight training??
So sorry,English is not my first language…
