Rogue "acquires" Ghost Strong, it seems

We'll see what happens but I doubt much of their stuff will be produced. I may be wrong.

I'm sure we'll see Rogue produce roller jcups. That's about it. I don't know that they needed to acquire Ghost Strong to do that but it ensures there won't be a patent issue.

With the prices of some of their newer things it appears they adopted Ghost pricing a while ago

They might be starting to adopt Titan's quality control.

Their QC definitely started slipping badly during the pandemic. I have a set of spotter arms from early 2021 that have too much metal on the inside where they attach to the rack. The result is that the hitch pin hole doesn't line up and I have to really jam the pin in to secure the bottom of the arm. I contacted Rogue about it and they just shrugged their shoulders at me.

Everyones QC took a hit during the pandemic. Takes time to train new people.

Not quite. Gym equipment sales skyrocketed during the pandemic. None of the equipment manufacturers laid off employees involved with production and QC. Maybe they cut some folks running their showrooms that had to close or a few people decided it was time to make a change because they were jealous of people rotting on stimulus bucks, but the home fitness industry boomed due to the pandemic and still hasn't returned to "normal." I don't know if it will. A lot of people realized they don't need to go to commercial gyms.

What really happened is they scaled up quickly to meet demand and started cutting corners. And like most businesses, headcount is a major investment so they are trying to do more with less for as long as possible and quality is taking a hit.
