Hello guys,
What exactly are the actual differences between baked sweet potato and baked potato if they are prepped the same way ? Everyone opts for sweet as it is essential for body building and i don't know why. Macros seem solid on both.
Also if anyone would give me ideas of what to change to my 2150 cutting cal diet that would be helpful. I'm on a 400-500 ish deficit
1 full day : meal 1 : omlette, 1 egg yolk + 4 egg whites and 20g of baked potato and i would always add a tbs of olive oil here to include the olive oil for all the rest of the meal preps together for the rest of the day.
meal 2 : Oats 70g + 2 whey scoops + 300g milk
meal 3 : Baked / cooked chicken breast 150g + Baked potato 150g
meal 4 : Red kidney beans. 400g can. Around 280g-300g without the water. I usually eat them raw with a little bit of pepper and that is.
snack : Protein Bar 60g. Usually around 220 calories and sometimes a medium / small banana.
If anyone would change anything i would be glad to hear it. If not i would rather stay on this one as i like it and its really easy to prep and eat without getting bored of it.
Thank you !

I eat about 2000-2100 cals a day myself at the moment. I certainly don’t eat the same exact thing every day however I definitely have 4-5 go to meals that are 400-550 cals each .I definitely try to stay under 600 cals a meal and generally am shooting for 50-60 G protein each meal.
All of that said, at work, instead of “meals” I graze on chicken breast and fruits. I bring a full pound of chicken and try to eat it between 8am and 2 pm. I generally bring a small bag of strawberries, a banana and an apple. Y see, I do this because I cannot rely on access to a microwave for a hot meal. I also cannot rely on an actual meal break.
As far as sweet potatoes vs regular potatoes, it has to do with glycemic index. I’m eating regular potatoes several times a day and it doesn’t interfere with wt loss at all."A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
