Suppose you put together a great workout for a client. The client loves it and asks for a repeat next session. Is the client kind of preventing you from using your own judgement to bring more good exercises? Should clients just say they liked a workout but stay mute as to the next one so the trainer can fully work his or her magic?

Is it bad for a client to ask to repeat a workout?

I put my clients on a fixed program that alternates every other workout, that way I can actually track their progress. So if they liked their workout on Monday thats great, because they're running it again on Friday.
All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.
Don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you did not do.
