Why so hungry? Am I not hitting my macros?

Has anyone ever experienced extreme hunger even when hitting your macros? I'm 36 y/o, 196 lbs and 6 ft. My macros so far for the day are 230g protein, 390g carbs, 95g fat and 3350 calories. It's still only 7pm and have been dealing with this for the past few days. I'm currently on a bulk and have been doing so for the past 6 weeks. I've been eating around 3000 calories a day for that entire time and never have experience hunger like this. I'm already at 3350 and feel like I could eat another 1000 calories. This is my off day btw. I'm so hungry that I feel light headed and blurry vision. Are my macros suddenly not enough?

uh... you don't get blurry vision from being hungry under normal circumstances...

Unless you're having a stroke at the same time maybe

You might just need to get your training diet dialed in a little better.

Try eating 4350 a day, seven days a week (as a test--not permanent)

    See if that cures it.

Liquid gainer sipped throughout the day with whole milk, or X slices of Pizza between meals.

It doesn't have to be anything special, its just a short term test of boosted calories, to see if it fixes it.

If so, you have found the cure.

I like to use Burger King Whoppers with large fries for ((added Calories)). For me they work good.

We are not machines that get a certain MPG that never varies.

Different hardnesses of workouts on different days sometimes need more nutrition, maybe that's what's going on.

Also stress depletes blood sugar....Pop (5) Pep-O-Mint Lifesavers in your mouth when this happens, and if you feel better when they are gone--it could be low blood sugar, possibly from not enough food at the right times.

If you are hungry--EAT when you are hungry...and see how it goes.

blurry vision is a sign of diabetes or Hyperglycemia you really need to see a doctor esp since you noted that you consume 400Carbs is 400 grams of sugar (minus fibre)

blurry vision starts happening when you get about 400-700mg/dL for the blood sugar...

most likely eating too many carbs or plant slop.. natures punishment for eating a non natural diet of "plants"
i'm not an expert but most macros calculators recommend being in between 350-400g carbs for my stats while on a bulk.

I've been doing strictly compound movement workouts for 6 weeks and started out at 12 reps the first 2 weeks and have been working my way down while increasing the weight. I started lifting at 8 reps set this week so that's the only thing I changed in my workout. Could it be possible that the lower reps / heavier weight is just requiring my body to consume more calories?

I get what you're saying with the junk food but I don't wanna get fat either. Trying to do as clean of a bulk I can. I'll try it out for a couple days though..

You need to ignore that dude... he's obsessed with meat and fears carbs due to his confirmation bias.

    He's deranged.

I don't know if it was blurred vision actually. More like really light headed. My breathing was very heavy too and and hard time catching my breathe. It was a little better today but still felt a little off most the day. Felt better when ever I would gauge down a big meal.

All you need to do to check is get a fasting glucose test or even better an hba1c test... highly unlikely you have issues.
