Mother is very unsupportive of me lifting

My mom really doesnt want me to lift and get any bigger, and every time she sees me flexing in the mirror at home she cringes and tells me that this is way too much muscle for 17 year old and she thinks that I wont be able to walk when I get older due to heavy lifting lmao. It was a pain in the ass to convince her to let me buy protein powder like 2 years ago, and she still doesnt let me use creatine, not because of health but because she doesnt want me to get big . Im taking it anyways without her knowing tho. She is also disgusted at bodybuilders and i once showed her a picture of jeff seid and buff dudes and she said that its way too much muscle and that it looks gross for her. She is also very overweight and constaltlly complains about wanting to lose weight but doesnt do **** about it. Why is she that unsupportive? My dad tho, is very supportive and he even bought me and my prother protein powder once without her knowing.
I tried explaining to my mom many tomes why im lifting and everything but every time she just doesnt understand it.

    im 17yo, 6 5 and 207 lbs.

You can’t change some peoples mind bro. Just keep grinding out and she will be forced to accept you. Also Post physique pics bro, I’ve never seen someone who is 6’5 at 207 lbs. get into sports also, god gave you height and I imagine your lean so you could be a killer player in almost anything bro. Good on you for having that self discipline and hard work, you will notice rarely anyone our age even puts in the work. **** yeah brother keep up the work!

You can do canned tuna instead of protein powder, just ask her to make you 6 tuna sandwiches a day with one 5 oz can on each sandwich.

Tell her you're extra hungry from "running" or "Playing some game with your friends" or something like that.

Then eat one sandwich every 3 hours plus some other food along with it too, such as apples or oatmeal.

This will give you a lot of protein, and she probably won't notice it as such.

Just a hungry boy eating a lot of tuna sandwiches.

There are plenty of girls who like BIG guys...just be trim and big vs FAT and big....

Another protein food she may not realize as such is "Cottage Cheese", eat one carton of it right after you finish your workout.

And don't ever talk to her about it--that's just poking the bear--instead you could pretend to agree with her, but just go right on working out and eating "Correctly".

You are your own person, and can be any size you want...(But still don't expect her to ever change--she won't).
