    Exercise Order?

    Hi,

I do the following exercises on the same day when strength training (other days are cardio):

    -Planks
    -Chin ups
    -Pull ups
    -Push ups
    -Dips

If I circuit trained (I workout at home), what do you think would be the best order to do them in?

I wouldn't change the exercises, just the order I do them in.

    Thank you for any help.

Not critically important what order you do those in.

Your overall strength program is more important - and whether those exercises make sense being done on the same days and in a circuit - but as you said, you're not looking to change anything else.

^^ Agree with A2F but as a general principle, do the most compounded, heaviest work first, then move towards isolations at the end. If you're needing to focus on a weak point that could be a possible exception, however.

Thank you both for the info. That's good to know. It doesn't sound like I need to change much but I might want to try starting with exercises that use more muscle.

Edit: I just saw General Serpant's response. I'll aim for that order depending on how my body feels. Thanks for the info.
