    Squat

    Hello every time i do squat in gym my knees so hurt. I dont know why. Now i want stop squat but i like more muscle. What ecersise i can do now that good for leg like squat? Thank you for help. I am from Thailand sorry for my English 😅

    It would be best to find out what causes the pain and try to work on fixing that. If you cant find out on your own it might be a good idea to visit a physio or a doctor.

    Excercises you can try as an alternative to the traditional squat:
    Weighted lunges
    Weighted step ups
    Trx hamstring curls/glute bridges
    Deadlifts / single leg deadlifts
    Limited ROM squats (only in the range with no pain)
    -> Box squats (squat to sit on a box, then stand up)
    Wall sits
    Bulgarian split squats

    With all things pain that arent an obvious injury, Ive had very good results with stretching. Try to regularly stretch your back, hips and legs after your workouts. It might help with your pain.
