Question No effects from pre or creatine?

Hi all, I’ve been taking creatine for a while (6 months-ish) and haven’t noticed a difference, once i got off it my strength and size stayed exactly the same, for reference I was taking 5g everyday at 70kg bw. After I brought a preworkout I experienced the same thing, absolutely no effect. I’ve recently heard you’re supposed to load up on creatine on the first day throughout the day then take 5g after that but I’m not too sure. I’m 15, not sure if that might be the cause of any of these. Any advice?

Not everyone responds to creatine. Some have natural saturation in their muscles.

Or it might just be a simple case of expectations - these things won't work miracles if your training and diet is not on point.

At 15 years old you don't need/shouldn't take any supplements. Your body is primed for growth with proper nutrition, exercise and sleep. If you have gone 6 months without results you need to really look at those factors and wait until you are older for supplements.

Dont take supplements until age of 18! I always had great results from creatine and pre-workout especially first timers should explode! As for creatine intake, dont do loading phase with 20g, just drink for 2-3 months and quit at least for a month!

As was stated, some people respond differently to creatine...
There is not much science to back up loading. Most guys that really get into the science of it, that I have read, are stating that pre-load it absolutely not necessary.
Also, ensure we are talking about plain old fashioned Creatine Monohydrate here. There are a million different offshoot product, claiming to be CM, but "better", and often they are not. Creatine Monohydrate is one of the most studied supplements in bodybuilding, and aside from maybe micronized CM, you are always taking your chances...

But also, the more important point, is at 15, you are already a factory of chemicals that most of us could only dream of getting back to...Depending on when you truly hit your growth spurt, pretty much between likely now and at least 18, I can't imagine Creatine would do a whole lot for you. You already have the natural ability to gain muscle in a way most of us only look back on with fond memories, so just slam the weights, keep up the intensity, keep a good steady program, and most likely (depending on your current body style), eat like a dang beast (good food, high proteins, etc.), and you will make gains quickly...

Maybe consider Creatine when you are older, but I do agree with these guys as long as you aren't seeing much in the way of results anyway...Most likely it is diet, and your program that is keeping you from seeing the gains...

    Best of luck man!
