    broken hand bone

have a boxer's fracture, hook the boxing wooden dummy really hard. couldnt move my hand for the next few days,
however after 2 weeks now felt much better able to type and to do daily light stuff.
had a xray, showed bone irregularities on the base of the 5th metacarpal together with the hamate bone and is accurate with the point of tenderness theres a bump as well when i press on my hand.
pinky seem to be like at a crawl shape default,
can do pull ups, however push up can only be done if the wrist is not fully extended. if i try to fully extend my injured right wrist it will be very painful at the spot above the funny bone on the ulnar wrist. signs of broken bone?
will be seeing the ortho in few days time apptment made.

anyone had this injury before and will it heal, if theres any ligament damage, because im like worried as like unable to bend wrist and finger seem abit crooked even after 2 weeks.

I see you posted a month ago but I had a boxer's fracture in the same bone but not sure how it compares to yours. Mine was a clean break and they put a cast on. It healed well, I just had the normal wrist weakness for the first couple weeks after the cast came off. If you really broke it I dont think you should be messing with pullups and things until it is healed. You dont want to mess up the bone healing. It will cause you to have this thing where when you make a fist it will look like you are missing that knuckle and will cause the joint to not operate correctly since the bone will be curved inward and it could cause problems that wont go away. Maybe they could rebreak it and try to straighten it out but I'm not a doctor. Good luck hope it heals soon
