Edit.. His name is banned cos his surname starts with
    f a g so tiny url
    https://tinyurl.com/4m3xpsjc

Its just a high volume variant of rest pause.
Initially intended to mimic bfr occlusion training, hence stopping slightly before full lockout, in the REAL myo reps. Most people dont actually do this.

    Usual implementation...
    15/5/5/5/5/5

Do the initial set of around 15 super close to failure
    Take 5 breaths
    Do 5 reps
    Take 5 breaths
    Do 5 reps

Stop if you hit 5 sets or can't hit 5 reps.
    They will be hard

I'd use on machines or 'isolations' mainly.
Perhaps on medium compounds like goblets, dB incline, ect.

15/5 is pretty standard. But 10/3 upto 30/10 isn't unheard of. And sometimes you are allowed a rep range for the backoffs such as 3-5 to work in before you drop out

Even if you don't want to program them in, you can do them when you want to try to squeeze a workout in but are short on time.

I've been personally surprised how much harder paused reps are on bench, and I never count a rep if it didn't touch my chest and also go to full lockout, anyway.
    Bench: 315
    Squat: 335
    Deadlift: 475
