    Smile New Lifter

    Hey guys, I am 17 years old and yesterday was my first weight training workout. I am 5'10.5 and 225 pounds. I'm just a big guy. I will be on my school's weightlifting team come the fall. How should I go about training so I lose a significant amount of fat, while continuing to build muscle?
    Measurements
    Waist-44
    Chest-43
    Bicep -15.5
    Thighs - 26
    Calf -17
    Idk if the measurements were necessary and idrk what they mean. Just giving y'all as much info as possible, hoping you can recommend some workout regimens.
