Possible Pinch Nerve in upper back?

I think I might have a pinched never in my upper left back. I feel a sharp kinda like burning pain when doing retraction exercises and sometimes when I sit up straight with good posture. The worst offender would be band pull aparts. I feel it mainly in my one of my rotator cuff muscles not sure which one I just know the general pain is somewhere in that area. I did injure one of those muscles 4 years ago, but I'm not sure if that is the cause of this pain. Pain only started happening around a year ago when I started doing a lot of postural work and trying to maintain good posture. It also could be because of peripheral neuropathy, I have that in my foot where I feel kinda like the same pain when I walk, but the neuropathy in my foot hasn't flared up recently. Should I keep up with the postural exercises or just stop completely. Has anyone dealt with this issue and have any experience? Is it just because my body isn't used to these exercises?
