Thread: Do you even game bro? -General gaming activity thread-

Post anything gaming related you did.

I wanna share some of my gaming activities but I have no intention of streaming and I don't wanna flood my social media with screenshots and video clips.


I'll start. I'm gonna flex my wives in Total War: 3 kingdoms. For me I already beat the game once I was able to subjugate Xiao Qiao lmao.
Sun Ren, Zheng Jiang, and Lady Mi were also my wives. Of course, there was the default Cao Cao wife, Lady Bian.




Was also trying out some weird army formations. Failed lol.

Played some battlefield 4 and witcher 3 yesterday. Was super fun

BF4 is one of the goats when it comes to FPS. Aged so well too. Can't believe it was released in 2013. Still holds its own vs more recent FPS games.

So hyped for BF6.

Eating a lot of food for gaming fuel: Turkey ass, neck bones, collard greens, catfish, turnip greens, whole chickens, and 16 Oz sirloin steaks mostly

BF4 and Arma 3 are still my go to game when I feel like playing a war-like shooter.
They say BF6 will a soft reboot of BF3 which is great. I remember a time when with it comes to multiplayer shooters with massive teams, the only thing that can rival BF4, was BF3.

Very curious about CoD but I'll play it once I finally get an RTX card.

I even had my cavalry set up for flanking but I still got owned lol guess the formation was really that bad.

Decided to pick up Final Fantasy IX, for many people it is considered the best Final Fantasy so I am very curious about it. It's hard to get a good PSX copy that runs good where the graphics aren't faded and blurry as chit.

The remaster has some mixed reviews but apparently there's a mod that's pretty much unanimous in terms of it's praise that boosts the graphics while staying true to the original game (the old PSX fonts are an option too). God bless these modders that donate their time to do this chit as I'm sure the chit is phucking tedious, but they do it for the love of the game I guess.

Wish I played this as a kid, would have been super nostalgic, I'm already liking the beginning, the atmosphere, the BGM

Going back and forth between DSR and DS3 seeing how fast I can beat all the bosses without glitches. Best times are 2:45 for DSR and 3:50 for DS3. Gonna have to figure out ways to shorten the runs or learn how to do glitches

Haven't played this yet, but I've played FF7, FF8, and FF10. Heard these 4 are the goats final fantasies. That looks really good. That type of grahpics really soothes me. Reminds me of my childhood too. Added it on my steam wishlist.

I recently beat Cybershadow and Valfaris. Working on Call of Cthulu. Might start Wizards & Warriors again. ATOM RPG has also been surprisingly good.

Been playing Bloodborne. Beat the game with a quality, pure skill, and now working on a bloodtinge build. Brb beating the game 3 times and still hungry for more. This game is a masterpiece. I picked up DS:R but couldn't get into it. Played the chit out of DS3 back then might hop back on for juicy PS5 performance.

The start theme already has me hooked, can't tell me you don't want to play this phucking game after this lol. Music as soothing as the graphics.

-Beat What Remains of Edith Finch a few weeks ago.
-Playing Gears Tactics, Call of the Sea, The Medium, Mario 3d All Stars.
-Beat Gears 5 a couple months ago. Much better than Gears 4 was imo. And quite the looker.
-Got a giant backlog: Astral Chain, Xenoblade Remastered, FF15, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Ori 2, more I'm forgetting about.

AC Valhalla has opened my eyes to the newer AC games. Bought it during the sale and have put like 50ish hours into so far. Just finished the first

part last night. Time to go fuk chit up in Lunden. Thinking about changing up my gear to try something new. Been dualwielding an axe and a dagger. Found a 2h sword that looks really cool though.

Probably going to pick up Origins and Odyssey as well at some point.

Recently beat the original DragonQuest port on the Switch just for goggles. Took me about 6 hours or so.

Started playing Andromeda again now that I've got the Series X and while it look and runs better, I've had to reload the game 4 times in 6 hours due to enemies spawning or being blown into walls and not allowing the game to progress. Very frustrating but the story so far is pretty good. Trying to remember why this game flopped so hard and I believe it was the quality and the bugs and less the story itself.

Getting my buddy to hook up a 1TB hard drive mod for my PS2 so I can play Dragon Quest 8 along with some other older PS2 games that I never got around to beating.

And then just playing a few MP games like SMITE and Apex (I'm not a fan of Apex) if any friends ask me to.

i don't recommend it, I just hop around sometimes. I definitely wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't for gamepass. Ideally I'd just play a couple at a time until I beat them, then move on.

I disliked both, thought they were steps back from BF4.... so I'm unhyped af for BF6.

I'm curious to see how you like FF9. Personally I think it's a bit overrated but still a great game

Friend use to throw lan parties. Always was a fun time.
