Thread: Killer Mike

A buddy who's a programmer for a big tech co sent me a link to a video that kinda rocked my ass off.




Then I started doing some digging and came to this Killer Mike dude. Read some stuff written by him and about him, and watched this:




That lead me to this Thomas Sowell dude from a quote in the youtube comments below the music video. “The problem isn't that Johnny can't read. The problem isn't even that Johnny can't think. The problem is that Johnny doesn't know what thinking is; he confuses it with feeling.” Which is solid.

Anyways, I'm kinda feeling this Killer Mike dude and wanted to see what ppl here think.

Sowell has a long career demonstrating how successful you can be begging the question for a friendly audience. I've read 5 or 6 of his books, and he's a genius when it comes to economics, but he's got a real nasty streak in him when it comes to social policy, and in my opinion he completely overstates the wrong in order to appear more right.
