gonna be honest, not super psyched about this. I'm actually more excited for the Diamond Pearl Remakes that arent even being made by Gamefreak.
Legends just looks bland. Being open world doesnt' mean it will be better off for it. I hope I'm wrong though.
I just don't think gamefreak has the technical chops or design chops to make a "great" pokemon game.
yea but this is gamefreak we are talking about. Maybe I'd have faith in something like that if it was handed to a developer like Monolith Soft.Last edited by ScramFranklin; 02-26-2021 at 09:16 AM.

Imagine an open world Pokemon game with MMO elements where you could travel to every region to try and complete the full Pokédex? Don’t go super hard on the MMO stuff though. Incorporate competitive battling from the handheld games as “pvp” but you don’t have to go hardcore on it if you don’t want to and if you just want to play the “pve” side of it and focus on collecting, you can. That would be a top 5 or top 10 goat game for me.

Will probably look cool, but end up not feeling like a "Pokemon" game.

My childhood dream come true. If anything would make me want to buy a Nintendo this is it.
But this looks like super early footage. Hopefully it looks better in the upcoming months and they get the framerate locked. Keen to see how it ends up being, if there's a chance, i'll still pirate this for PC and play 4k60fps than be tied down to chitty switch specs. BOTW on PC is a completely different game than playing on switch.Sig line can't be a novel

Will save my hype for gameplay and reviews. Last Pokemon I played was Sun/Moon. They really need to evolve their formula and stop making the newest entries so fukking easy. They sure as fuk didn't hold back on the challenge when WE were kids.
Remember the OG elite 4? Mewtwo? Zubats? Miltank? They actually kicked our asses sometimes. Now they wanna act like a kid can't enjoy a Pokemon game unless it's the most simple, braindead game there is.
I know I'm not their target demographic, but I don't give a fuk. Kids don't want a super easy game either.***The Misadventires of Gandalf the Black***

I’m still disappointed with how easy Sword and shield were. Over powered literally every single battle and didn’t even grind up my Pokémon. Quit playing after like my 6th gym badge. Felt like I was playing a game for 4 year olds (which it was)
Also that phaggot Hop was so cringe and always talking to me every got dam 5 mins. Couldn’t take it.
At least the red/blue/yellow games didn’t hold your hands throughout the full thing. You actually had to figure out where to go and what to do. Sword and Shield basically walked you through the whole dam thing.
Oh yeah, team Yell were cringe also. Not as cringe at Hop but still pissed me off just as much as him.
Just hope this new one doesn’t hold your hand and also if there’s gyms, actually to make them hard to beatCan’t stump the Trump

The only thing "difficult" about the old games was being 8 years old when we played them. Replay them and they are still piss easy.
but these new games are unquestionably even easier and a lot of the stuff in the new games is downright cringe. The Mandatory Party EXP Share is the worst, rival picks starter weak to yours, handhelding with constant cutscenes... I'll admit though I'm a big fan of how you can reuse TMs. No idea why Pokemon had a "hard mode" for one of those DS Titles and then took it out immediately when everyone loved that. from what I read online most people say the 3DS era is when the games took a turn for the worst.

Man, forgot all about that. You had to put up with bitch ass zubats n chit while pushing rocks around, and if you fukked up, you had to leave and start over/ reload.
I do like some of the new stuff though like reusing tms, hms not mandatory for your Pokémon, and not having to click strength over and over.***The Misadventires of Gandalf the Black***
