I do my most taxing workouts in the morning (legs, chest, back). I do this so I can take my pre workout drink in the a.m. and still be able to sleep at night. Because of this I don't get breakfast in before my workout. What would be a fast absorbing breakfast that would give me fuel.? I want to be able to utilize the calories as quick as possible.

You could add in some HBCD....Highly Branched Cyclic Dextrin; if you can make the cals fit your macros (if you're counting)

anything. a banana, small bowl or cereal, can of sardines, whatever. time frame: as close as possible without making myself feel sick while running, so like 30 minute for a small snack and an hour or so if it was a meal or a large snack. for lifting, i generally stay in the gym an hour and a half or more.
