This is geared toward console gaming. I currently have a living room with my tv/PS4 pro/switch. No furniture and a fish tank.
I need to add a some furniture I’m considering a couple recliners instead of couches but there’s different categories of those too. Rocker, glider, um, push back? Wtf!
What do you guys sit on when you lean forward, lounge back, move side to side, and does it deal with all the fatigue and wear and tear that comes with something as serious as playing game as we in the electronic sport do.
I have no more than 3 guests at a time these days due to covid. I’m divorced. I live with a dog. So this is mostly for playing PlayStation and switch for me.

Couch for me. Majority of the time I play sitting upright closest to window with my legs on the coffee table but I'll play on the sectional if it's a game that doesn't need 100% precision like Skyrim.
Casual gamer, maybe a couple weeknights I'll play an hour or so but weekends I'll do 4-6 hour sessions when the girl falls asleep. Never had back issues.
