Good for him. He should leave because he'll always be underneath Brock Lesnar. In AEW he'll be on top of the company.

Let's see if AEW book him like a giant, something WWE never did with him.

He's old but book him like Andre, he doesn't need to do a lot just be a fkn giant ffs.

did aew really sign big show when they need to find young talent. I dont watch aew but I'm willing to bet all the top guys getting paid have all made their names known thanks to the wwe. It's a system Jericho said he once hated when he worked for the wcw & it's happening all over again.

Jericho I'd expect him to have put over more young talent than those other 3. he knows the feels from big stars who said no to wanting to even work with him. Still just 2 young wrestlers who've gotten that opportunity.. hes still good but last I remember watching the show, he hogs mic and camera time.. dude even had a 30 year chris jericho appreciation night. Rock, hogan, austin, sting, shawn Michaels have never gotten that

Well, he was the champion and carried the company for the first year. And as champ he went to a draw with Jungle Boy and AEW has been very slowly building him up.

Also, Jericho is in an angle with MJF in which MJF is eventually going to turn on Jericho and if done right should make him the top heel in the company and given MJF’s skill, possibly the top heel in all of wrestling.

Cody and Jericho also give a ton of offense to younger guys, possibly too much in some cases, to make the younger guys look as strong as possible in defeat.

Not a big deal. This young up and comer has yet to really prove himself. Maybe with a few more years of experience, he might turn out to be a decent prospect. I know he lost a fight to Mayweather, hopefully he takes the Canelo Alveraz route and learns from that loss to become better.

Why would moxley be the guy to put over younglings, he's the same age as reigns he's in his prime.

Both Moxley and Rhodes are 35. They are in their prime, so shouldn't be putting too many people over. I'd expect they'll start doing so in when they hit their late 30's and early 40s.

He says he could tear the house down with Omega, lol. Show hasn’t torn the house down in any match I can remember other than the Lesnar match. I probably only remember that match due to the ring collapse.

    That all depends.

Is the main event scene entirely the same guys who are all well past their prime and ex-wwe guys?

Can someone in AEW break out and move up the ladder? Or are they held back to the midcard regardless of their reaction and ability?

Honestly, and maybe this is changing somewhat, but I see a wrestler's prime in 2020 being more like 40. Perfect age to have learned all you can, get over and still be physically able to work at a high level (assuming your style isn't flippy bullchit).

His actual primary purpose in signing is that he wants to be a color commentator in the mold of Gorilla Monsoon and only wrestle in specific, special occasions.

I’m convinced Wight should’ve stayed in wwe, got the hall of fame, and asked for a job on the smackdown announce team.

The ending to their last ppv was inexcusable! It was too important a moment to f up. BRB hulk Hogan and Andre botching the bodyslam at wm3. (Yea yield I know Hogan bodyslamed him before that when Andre was a beanpole compared to wm3!)

He said that he’d asked Vince about it. But apparently Vince didn’t want him as a commentator.
