How long to cut weight / waist size

    Hi,
I’ve been on a slow cut the last 5 months. Im 38 years old, 5 10’ and started at 83kg - now approaching 75kg, which was my goal. I’ve been trying to maintain muscle during this and have inevitably lost some strength but not too much.

I also tracked my progress by measuring my waist (around the naval). When I started it was 36 inches and now it is just under 34.

I had hoped to lose even more fat round the waist before doing a slow bulk again, but I don’t really want to go any lower than 75kg as the lower in weight I’m going the more strength I’m losing.

I’m keen to try and keep my waist size down when I increase the calories, I’ve been reading there would be an inevitable increase in body fat but are there any tips on minimising this?
Ideally I’d like to reduce my waist size further when increasing my calories but I’m not sure this will be possible?
Or should I just cut even more and then bulk?
