My current nutrition - looking for advice

Hi guys I’m new, originally joined a couple years back in my teens with no knowledge wanting to get ‘big fast’ as I was a skinny kid, around 140 pounds. Didn’t like what I was told by guys on here ie. take it slow, you’ll get fat, bodybuilding is a marathon.

2-3 years of reading and looking up short cuts to get big, I’ve filled out a bit through natural growth into my early 20s. I now weigh 165 pounds at 5 feet 10, with a body I’m not satisfied with. I’m skinny, don’t have much muscle with a flat chest and slight pot belly. I sit here now realising how much time I’ve wasted, as I never even started the gym. But now I’m a few years older and wiser and have more of a genuine understanding on the basics. I have a plan, and I know how a beginner should approach improving their physique. I used to think I would look big if I gained fat. I now realise I would look awful. I’m more health conscious after hundreds of hours reading.

Anyway, my question is actually about my diet, I’m gonna include the types of foods I’m eating below. I’m hitting my calories and macros everyday. I’m just looking for some advice on what healthier foods to include, veg or otherwise.
I’ve lived off of processed food nearly all my life with practically no fruit and veg and the past few months prepping for gym when lockdown ends I’ve been cleaning it up.

    Usual shopping list:
    Chicken breasts 1kg x 2
    Salmon pack 250g
    WW Pasta
    Rice
    Red pesto
    Whole milk
    Seeded bread
    Eggs
    Oats
    Roast potatoes (frozen)
    Cheese
    Tomatoes
    Bananas
    Broccoli
    Spinach
    Blueberrys
    Whey protein
    Chocolate ice cream

that sounds good, includes pretty much everything i eat regularly. you could start adding frozen vegetable mixes in your foods though - they're very easy to throw in with chicken, meat or whatever you're cooking

Thanks man, will look at that. I’ve decided to swap the ice cream out and include mushrooms, onion and chorizo in my eggs instead. With the occasional chocolate bar once a week. Any ideas on a small smoothie I can make packed with nutrients just for general health with coconut water as a base?

Honestly with smoothies, for me the fun is variety. Though one thing I keep in the freezer is ripe bananas. Once my bananas get too ripe to eat I put em in a ziploc and through in freezer. Makes an excellent smoothie thickener. I usually get bags of frozen mixed berries and mango chunks etc. Whatever looks good at costco or walmart. Then i’ll just kind of throw some frozen bananas and whatever else sounds good in to the blender. Once you have a good base its easy to hide the flavors of veggies you may not care for, or those you do, you can throw in some kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, carrot, beets, etc. Just experiment until you find stuff you like.
