Also - the play that setup the Seahawks was largely due to a miracle catch made by the Seattle WR, I forgot who it was though. Ball literally fell into his lap.

OP making an argument based on "what if." Intriguing.

In addition to all the what ifs to say Brady could have had more rings, don't forget he threw for 3 TDs, 0 INTs and 505 yards scoring 33 points against the Eagles and lost. Add another ring to the list if things would have gone right. That makes him 10/10 in Super Bowls.

If they traded him away he would have won the Super Bowl every year thereafter bringing his total to 10 Super Bowl wins. Would have been considered the GOAT even moreso than he is now.

2007--helmet catch by Tyree OR Asante Samuel dropping an INT on that last drive that would have sealed it.

2011--drop by Welker late in the 4th quarter that would have set them up with a 1st down around the 20 yard line when already leading.

2017--Avoid that strip sack at the end and proceed with the GW drive (this one is a bit of a reach I admit, since it was on TB).

But he certainly was a couple plays away from winning 9 at least.


The guy who should get the credit for Lynch not getting the carry in 2014 is Belicheat. He completely flustered Pete Carrol by not calling a timeout after the play on first down that got the Seahawks inside the 5.

His lock ran out when they took away the cameras recording the other teams defense (2 losses to the giant) and when they took away his deflated football (loss to the Eagles). There just isn’t a impressive track record with all the years of astericks

This is no different than had the Astros got away with winning 6 World Series stealing signs. They won one by cheating and are disgraced because of it. The NFL went easy on brady not to risk their Golden boy too much and godell had to be dragged kicking and screaming to even punish Brady in a minor way
