Michigan looks like a #1 seed in early projects below Gonzaga and Baylor

We got shut down for covid for 2 weeks though, finally resuming today vs Wisconsin

March is just around the corner...

I don't follow near as much as I used to. Should be an interesting tournament, quite a few of the usual suspects are having down years.

Yeah, it's been hard to follow this year with so many teams having pauses early on due to COVID and a lot of the good ones having down years.

Will Kentucky or Duke make the tourney? I feel like yes cuz the NCAA needs their names as a draw to increase viewership/revenue, especially after last year. That said, neither deserve a spot.

My Bears were just crushing the Big 12 untill another rough patch of Covid. 3 or 4 cancelled games I believe, not follow it much.

Bold question - if you had to bet $1000 you get one choice to win the championship in April:

A. Baylor and Gonzaga
B. the field

What would you pick? Both teams looking stacked this year. but 1 and done tournament is tough to steamroll thorough

Been busy lately and not watching much Bball at all ( Texas done got Fukkked up last week...) But I'm gonna be pumped for NCAA tournament.

LOVE it that the traditional blue-bloods are not much of the conversation this year ( Duke, N carolina, Kentucky Louiville )

Michigan should be number 1, no brainer.

I don't understand how Gonzaga plays absolute dog chit teams and keeps number 1. There are a number of teams that would be undefeated on that schedule.

Baylor can't even play half a schedule, but they have more right to a top 1-2 spot than Gonzaga.

They will make the Sweet 16 then get bounced by a big team. Historically good program that gets hot at the right time.

i never, ever bet NCAA basketball. But I Kansas +4 was sold money tonight. Such a chopped up season.

Unless BU drops 3 or 4 in row, should still be a 1 seed

Considering Baylor just got dropped by Kansas (and not by a small margin) and Gonzaga has barely played anyone decent in the past two months thanks to COVID, I'm expecting upsets in the tournament.

Dark horses are Virginia, Iowa and SDSU for me. Would also love to see Duke at least make the Sweet Sixteen after the crap season they've had if they even make it in.

Not a big basketball fan, but as a Michigan fan I can say with a high degree of confidence that Michigan will NOT win the National Championship. I don't even care if they've been steamrolling everyone they play so far, and would beat the bricks off of the 92 Dream Team. We are a cursed fanbase and can't have nice things.

I haven't watched regular season games regularly in at least 6 years, but I caught the Illinois/Wisconsin game this past weekend. Kofi Cockburn looked like an absolute unit in that game. Anybody know if he's getting any draft hype?

nah. his game is set up to dominate in college. 2nd rounder this year or next with his ceiling being steven adams lite.

He doesn't play make or offer any type of shooting to stretch the floor so nba scouts are not really that interested in him as an early pick. NOt compared to someone like Evan Mobley who can literally do everything Kofi can, but is more agile, can dribble, pass and shoot.

Illinois just went in dry in Michigan without arguably b1g player of the year.

I might have Illinois in the natty if they play like this in the tournament.

Was surprised to see them truck South Carolina tonight

I kno SC is at the bottom of the league but this had the feel of a classic letdown game being on the road, coming off some big wins in the SEC, and jumping a ton of spots in the rankings
Easy for a young team to be looking down the road already

I live in kentuxky. Ive always bled blue but with their record their only chance was winning the sec and i think theu lost tonight.
Mthere was a time id never miss a game. Its been years since ive watched. One innits entirety
