An interesting thing about the commentary I have seen surrounding this is the lamentation of scaring elected officials and damaging a government building as if that's the cornerstone of what makes America great. By comparison, it seemed it was a fringe, unacceptable position this summer to condemn the destruction of small businesses which literally are what makes America great - enterprising people who support themselves and their families by serving their communities.

That being said I really cannot imagine simping for a politician - any politician - so damned badly that you go and do this. Your opinion about President Trump himself is your own, but these people have some serious daddy issues.

I reckon they will be getting pizza delivered by drones tonight, I don't think anyone in that building is getting out anytime soon

Anyone who draws anologies to left "rioting". The difference is, these people are marching on the Govt. They are not throwing rocks through windows and walking out with new Jordans. Business are not being looted.

If anything, you might say this is one of the most unprecedented ACTUAL protests in recent history. Given the back drop of what many believe is a 'stolen' election, I dont think you will see change that satisfies the mass of angry (and mostly hard working) americans on the Red side. We are the only developed nation that wont even verify the identity of our voters. In what bubble world can any party argue against verifying votes are legitimate.

We may see civil war in the near future. What would be really neat is if we could just split the country for a few months. Each side living ONLY with their party members. I think many on the blue might start to consider to whom they are giving the power and for the sacrifice of what. But many dems are in denial. The vote 'blue' because it makes the feel good, and then when the section 8 development goes for zoning that would fill their suburan kids schools with minorities they fight like hell against it. The blue party has become so radicalized many very good americans are pushing back against this. (like not sure if you saw the new congress rules Dems past where they are removing gender from ANYTHING).

Anyways...distracted sorry. Feel bad, but in the camp of the 1/2 that feel the election was rigged. And not just because some internet vid said so.

Watched for a few minutes on CNBC to get a few laughs and eye rolls, "where do these people get their news? often from entities unheard of" maybe because the msm is crooked and biased af?

I doubt anything of real substance will come from these demonstrations and protests, but I'm sure we'll hear about it non-stop for a few years about how deplorable any one is for questioning election integrity.

I honestly don't know where we go from here, but I doubt any real change will happen in the next 4 years, but it'll sure be interesting...

A friend of mine said this was going to happen months ago. Lets hope it doesn't get violent. Regardless of who you support, the bloodshed is not necessary.

An actual protest where the people showed up on the doorstep of Congress...right where they should show up. Nothing like the protests where people were burning down buildings and robbing the nearest fukin CVS.

What gets me is the people with the Gadsden flags. You’re waving a flag that stands for liberty and states’ rights while you demand that the federal government overrule the will of the people and the states. Not the brightest bunch out there.

Well we all know what this organized protest was about, it wasn't about "muh freedom and rights."
It was about, his last stand or attempt at galvanizing his supporters in a "hail mary" to stop the count, which was achieved.
Thankfully the EC vote boxes were saved from destruction.
