    Stem Cell treatment this weekend

Hey all, just turned 47 this week, so definitely qualify in the 35+ group. The week before I turned the clock, I had my first stem cell treatment. A good friend of mine of over 15 years ago built his business from nothing and has become a huge success in just 3 short years. I had a heart murmur in junior high, pericarditis at 29 from a drinking binge, a hybrid valve replacement at 34, and 4 procedures this year to address an 8 mm hole in my heart and rhythm issues that followed. I also had a 2nd hernia repair a couple months ago. After years of lifting, my joints are suffering as well.

Curious if any of you have had any experience with stem cells? My girlfriend herniated her disc earlier this year and stem cells were like a miracle for her, so I had my Jay throw everything he had at me for both the heart and joints. Below is the youtube link of the actual heart treatment and explanation filmed as it happened, and I'll post the ortho one once i finish it. Enjoy and best to you all in the new year!

How much did it cost her/you OP? There’s no evidence that stem cells work in joints for cartilage regeneration. This is being advertised heavily and is mainly cash based. IMO, it’s quackery until we have solid research to back up the claims. Also, the stuff they are shooting, are not really truly stem cells anyway.

For just her herniated disc, it was about $11k. what i got in total for joints and heart was about the same, but i got a lot more because my guy owned his clinic, so it eliminated the facility cost, also she had to be put under general, and i didn't. it is cash based vs. insurance. My understanding, and i work in med devices, so i have a little background on this, is that pharma can't make money on it, because stem cells are natural mat'l. if they modify it the 20% or whatever to make it a pharma product, then the shutoff triggers didn't work if i recall. Since big pharma won't fund huge clinical studies to get the data to get the FDA indication, then insurance won't reimburse it. Let's say for instance they are absolutely the best thing for the patient, because of the money trail i described, that doesn't matter, only the business and red tape do.

My girlfriend did a lot of research as she has a more science based background. she couldn't find anyone who said they got nothing out of stemcells. My guy has never heard "didn't work" either. It ranges from good to unbelievable. There is debate about what is most effective for joints. I got tissue bank cells for both my heart and the joints, which also got PRP and will be getting tb500 as soon as my shots show up. Some research indicates that my own fat cells turned to stem cells would be better for joints, and my guy is just starting to get geared up to do that as an option over tissue bank cells, so i'll be watching that closely as well.

I will say that 2 weeks post treatment, i swam and for the first time, didn't feel the sharp shoulder pain. more of a dull sore, but it was a noticeable improvement. we'll see if it keeps up for me, but for my gf, in the 4-6 weeks on her back it was miraculous. she has a friend who had the same injury and was disabled for 18 months. she was for 3 months, got stems, and in 4-6 weeks made incredible improvements constantly. In the vid you'll hear the example of the guy with congestive heart failure that he treated that made a 10% unheard of ejection fraction improvement too. There's definitely something here, we just have a lot to learn yet. Just my $0.02, but i'll be vid documenting progress as i go to see what i find out personally.

just posted the ortho treatment i had same time as the cardiac treatment.

been about a month now, and have to admit, i've been doing at least a couple workouts a day, some combo of swimming, kickboxing, t25, yoga, and the joints are feeling better as is the heart. keep vid on progress as i go and will post follow-up later. also shooting TB500 into my joints for 20 days as follow-up too.
