    Golfer's elbow, soreness or pain?

I've been recovering from golfer's elbow on both of my elbows for the past few weeks. I think I'm 90% recovered and started using some weight during my rehab exercises. My rehab consists of massaging the area for 30 sec then doing three sets of 10 for arm curls and three sets of 10 for hammer curls. I felt a little soreness or aggravation this morning, when the passed couple days I didn't feel anything. I can't tell if I'm just sore or I aggravated it by increasing the weight, it's more of a dullness then a pain like it was before. How can I know the difference?

I used to play a lot of golf 10-12 yrs. ago and ended up with this. Pretty much rest is the only thing that worked. It's just inflammation from overuse so using it more is just going to continue to aggravate it.

As far as golf goes, get off the driving range and hit the putting green. Play "practice rounds" instead of driving range. I'd hit 4-500 balls a week and that of course caused the tendonitis and did nothing to make me better at golf.

Bit late to the party on this thread, but I was diagnosed with golfer’s elbow (despite not having played in 20 years ;-)) back in August. I’ve been wearing Mark Bell’s Compression Cuffs 2.0 on my upper forearm for the last month when doing any kind of lifting, and I haven’t felt any discomfort in weeks.

I have no idea whether it’s helping, whether it’s masking the symptoms, or whether it’s all in my head, but... I’m happy in any case. You might consider giving it a shot.
