My poll is on who you think will win more so than who you want to win as the latter is obvious .... I am hoping Trump wins but I think Biden will win due to the amount of hatred that is out there and folks will vote for Biden just because they hate Trump.

I think Trump will win. I don't think the peaceful but fiery protests helped the democrats. In fact, I think that along with some indications of policy direction would push more moderates and independents towards Trump as they hold their noses and vote for him instead of the alternative. Another thing to consider is the record numbers of new gun owners resulting from the riots, and democrats long held desire to reduce gun rights since they first started their position to prevent black people from owning guns before the civil rights movement (the original 2nd amendment infringements targeted AA populations).

I voted for Biden/Harris, but if the republicans had challenged Trump in the primaries and put any of the individuals on the ticket that were trying to primary him, I would have voted for them instead.
It's hard to say who will win with all of the disinformation regarding polls out there, but I will go on a limb and say Biden wins with the caveat that as long as there is not a 'big breaking Biden story' that flips the election.

I'm honestly not sure who will win. All of the swing states are within the margin of error for polling data. Whoever wins a bunch of voters are going to be very unhappy. I voted but I don't particularly like either candidate. My main hope is just that whoever wins, please let it not be a Bush / Gore scenario turned up to 11.

Whomever wins we still lose.
Biden leads nationally but that doesn't mean anything with the EC. 538 has Trump at a 12% probability to win while Vegas is taking in more money on Trump.
Oh and I hate Trump so I'll say Biden (although my head leans toward a Trump win).Last edited by Jtbny; 10-28-2020 at 01:51 PM.

This is pretty close to my feelings. Biden is ahead right now, but Hillary was way ahead in the polling in 2016 until the very last weekend when the polls tightened considerably (and very few people noticed, except Nate Silver, who increased Trump's odds from 10% to 30%). I'm not making any predictions until Monday this time. Biden is ahead, but that doesn't mean he'll still be ahead when it counts.
Also, keep this in mind when looking at polling. State level polls in both 2016 and 2018 were about 4% too Democratic on average in the Midwest and Rust Belt (i.e. PA, OH, MI, WI, MN, IA), 2% too Democratic in the SE (FL, GA, NC), but 4% too Republican in the SW (TX, NV, AZ).

Going by my yard sign based election models, (which are based on my neighborhood and nothing else), Biden is going to win 50% of the vote, with Any Functioning Adult getting 21% and President Trump with 16.6%. Dogs 2020 likely to fall below the 5% needed to qualify for ballot access.

Here in NY (The Bronx) if you support Trump you could lose a lot even your job, sad but true. I take a lot of chances stating that I support Trump, but then again I never really gave a fck about things, but sometimes my actions get me in trouble so I am rethinking my actions.

I always thought they'd punish all of us for the Trump presidency (whether you support him or not), and they did, it was COVID (my belief).
If he wins again, it isn't going to get easier, but like they say "freedom isn't free" fighting, dying, and prison is always essential for freedom, just ask John Lewis, and MLK.
Peoples idea of freedom is obscure, as some think it's Government give me security and food, no, that ain't freedom.
I really hope I'm wrong on the 1st sentence and part of the second, unfortunately I'm not wrong on "freedom isn't free".
