Voting (for a presidential candidate, not talking about local candidates/issues) seems pretty pointless to me. I don't understand all the ads, celebs, etc talking about how important voting is and how you need to make your voice heard. Me voting is not going to make my voice heard because none of the candidates represent my views. Not to mention democracy can only work if the voting citizens are informed. I don't know how anyome can really be informed now with no real news sources and everyone just spewing propaganda. I try to stay informed, but I'm really not. How is a bunch of uninformed people choosing between two parties with set agendas a good thing?
