ok so I have lower quad pain which is slightly more predominant in my left leg, the pain is a sharp tightness pain about 4-5 inches from the top of my kneecap.
It hurts when I go down into the hole, even when warming up on the bar and hurts as I push out of the hole but disappears about halfway up. It also hurts when I get up from a chair etc on a rest day. the most reps I squat is about 9 reps at 107.5 KG (75.7kg BW), the weight is challenging but achievable (am doing AMRAP 4x32 reps).
I wear flat shoes designed for weightlifting and I am fairly happy with my form although there may be a bit of room for improvement in regards to "tightness" as I fatigue towards the end of the set.
does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of a massage.
