    Question Excess sebum

So I have been noticing an excess of sebum both in my scalp and face. This seems to have lead to hair loss since when I look at the fallen hair there seems to be some sebum/dandruff at the end of it. I shower twice a day but only use soap on my scalp twice a week so i can avoid ph imbalances and have taken up nizoral for 3 weeks now but have not noticed any difference. The hairloss is distressing to me since it doenst run in my family and im barely 20. Im thinking of getting of whey since its the only thing i eat that isnt unprocessed. im pretty healthy i eat fruits, beans, eggs, fish, and other good foods and i walk or jog everyday apart from the weight lifting. I went to the doctor and he recommended a bunch of medicines but im still in the process of saving up money and buying them.

there is a layer of sebum on my hairline that i cant help but remove. I got dandruff flakes, sebum build up scabs, im not sure if thats what their called but after showering i notice them on my face and eyebrows too.

so my question is has anyone had this problem and did it get resolved? are there any foods or remedys that worked for you? did your hair grow back? What could cause this? Should i go to an endocrinologist i heard it could be a hormone imbalance.

when i cry my thyroid is tight and i feel a little pain.

Get a second opinion and/or see a specialist. I doubt anyone will have a miracle cure on here if you haven't found one on google yet. I hope you figure this out. It sounds rough.

I use this for face (oxygenated water) with a cotton pad.

For hair, there are many shampoos with sebum control.
    Also, exfoliate!

"Ever see a guy rowing 300+lbs with chicken arms?". Ah yes those were the days. God bless amusclehead and his twisted one dimensional views along with the rest of the former flock."
