“Don Jr. Thinks Trump Is Acting Crazy”: The President’s COVID Joyride Has the Family Divided
Donald Trump’s erratic and reckless behavior in the last 24 hours has opened a rift in the Trump family over how to rein in the out-of-control president, according to two Republicans briefed on the family conversations. Sources said Donald Trump Jr. is deeply upset by his father’s decision to drive around Walter Reed National Military Medical Center last night with members of the Secret Service while he was infected with COVID-19. “Don Jr. thinks Trump is acting crazy,” one of the sources told me. The stunt outraged medical experts, including an attending physician at Walter Reed.
According to sources, Don Jr. has told friends that he tried lobbying Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Jared Kushner to convince the president that he needs to stop acting unstable. “Don Jr. has said he wants to stage an intervention, but Jared and Ivanka keep telling Trump how great he’s doing,” a source said. Don Jr. is said to be reluctant to confront his father alone. “Don said, ‘I’m not going to be the only one to tell him he’s acting crazy,’” the source added.
One area where the family seems united is over the president’s manic tweeting early Monday morning. After Trump sent out more than a dozen all-caps tweets, the Trump children told people they want Trump to stop. “They’re all worried. They’ve tried to get him to stop tweeting,” a source close to the family told me.
The Trump family’s private concern about Trump’s behavior could raise questions about his fitness for office. Trump has been prescribed drugs that medical experts say can seriously impair his cognitive function. Last night the New York Times reported that steroids, which Trump is reportedly taking, specifically dexamethasone, are known to “affect mood, causing euphoria or a general happiness.”
There is a long history in the Trump family of denying serious illness. According to a Trump family friend, Trump’s father, Fred Trump Sr., insisted on working even after his Alzheimer’s disease advanced in the 1990s. “To retire is to expire!” Fred Sr. would say. The friend said that as Fred Sr.’s disease worsened––he once came down the stairs wearing three neckties––the family created a system so that Fred could think he was still running the Trump Organization. Every day Fred Sr. would go to the office in Brooklyn and they would give him blank papers to sort through and sign. The phone on Fred’s desk was set up so that it could only dial out to his secretary. “Fred pretended to work,” the family friend said.
The White House did not immediately respond for comment.
Hold Fast.

Cool story, bro. Would read again.
I did exactly what you wrote.
I held my breath for TEN MINUTES.
99% of my brain cells died.
So now I'm a liberal.

I believe. Real talk: you've come so far in the last 10 years. While part of me misses the entertaining stories involving your temper and lack of restraint, another part of me is relieved to witness how you've worked hard to overcome destructive impulse and behavior. Major props, brother.
I was unaware of this situation, but pleased to know Led Zep no longer have that hanging over them.
Dude.... Where did I write to hold your breath for 10 minutes?
Frankly, your $hit is getting lame and even worse - boring. I get that you're raging aboot the prospect of soon being governed by commies, but that's no reason to spew these half-assed, weaksauce political rants.
I know you're motivated and can do better, so lets see a little more effort, please.

Dude, I hear you. I think the problem is that all the amps are cranked to 11 ATM, and all we hear is distortion. While I can't say or do anything to fix what's broken, I truly believe that we will adapt and get through this period. Ultimately what will matter to each and every one of us is how we conducted ourselves in this time of uncertainty and insanity.
and if we're legit fukked, well, let's at least go out with some laughs.

Norwich is not white Caucasian at least he don’t look it, but that should describe the worries amongst the hard working Americans, and I’d say the man is white as white can be for speaking up.
As a white man in America the future is somber, but as a weight lifter I must stand because that’s what weight lifters do, runners run. How to become a citizen in Canada is the most growing google search these days, so watch out guys, your about to get flooded with rich white runners if Biden wins.
Disclaimer, it has nothing to do with whiteness, but everything to do with being an individual, not living in the tribe.

Crazy as this might sound, this site (the OV35) helped me tremendously in seeing that my life was not the norm, as most of the people I was raised with were/are the same.
It wasn't until folks here thought I was BSing that I was like WTF why they keep questioning me or thinking I am making this sh!t up? The more I spoke to folks on here and the more advice I received from here I started reevaluating my life and putting things into perspective and decided to seek help.
So yeah in a nutshell I kind of owe a lot to the folks on here, so a big THANK YOU to you guys love me or hate me (or in between) you made an impact in my life in one way or another. On the list for Bannukah

That's not an unusual trait at all, and it's not necessarily a negative. As eomrat suggested, a lot of those who participate in extreme sports have the same characteristic. At the risk of being accused of armchair psychoanalysis, for which I'm far from qualified, I'd guess that part of the difficulty it caused you is that it was combined with some serious chronic anger.
If the anger's gone away, great, but that doesn't mean the need for adrenaline has. It's just a matter of finding a more positive way of expressing it.I'm out, standing in my field.
65 and still a newbie.

Whoah! That's past adrenaline! However I have told Patty several times we should do this, my DIL did it but said there is an instructor on your back and I was like, OK but it has to be a woman.
My anger is not gone, but subsided significantly, there are times I am laying in bed watching a movie and out of nowhere I just get really fcking angry, I'll get up throw like a 100 air punches, body weight squats, jumping jacks and slowly as my heart rates starts to increase, the anger slowly subsides. Then I do breathing meditation thereafter as the breathing meditation doesn't work when I am already angered it only works as a preventive measure. But thankfully I have gotten less and less of those outburst. On the list for Bannukah

This is basically how I get with these fuking Democrats being authoritative over the virus, Everytime I hear thier lies and hypocracy.
I’m sure El does the same with Trump but the big difference is it’s the dems that hurt our freedom to try to make themselves powerful authoritative gods who want to be our parents and guardians.
The latest was Nacey, I hate that old bag, she said “we (meaning her) feeds the pooor in America” people don’t want to be feed bitch, people want to feed themselves, you stupid bitch, wtf is she doing in politics anyway, she should be doing other chit with her fiking grandkids or a side job, I don’t remember her ever getting voted as house speaker she just grabbed it. Fuk, I hate her, I bet you like her El? If so, you suck.
The bad part is once she dies I feel the new blood are going to be worse fuk.
It’s a shame an old guy with a decent DL supports that bitch, she really acted like an ass even to the CNN folks for questioning why she is stalling with this money. Fuk that C!!!!!

I'd say try Jiu Jitsu but I'm not sure you'll find a place in NYC that you can actually have a training partner instead of a dummies or how well your ego can handle you being tossed around and choked out like a child

I guess I should take back when I said you should kiss the ground, your city shut down again, for no good reason.
I’ll never understand why you talk bad about a Trump, if he were the governor there you’d be able to train, instead the criminals get what they want and you get stuck wearing a mask to go outside, your bbj won’t do much against the protected thug with a semi auto.

I loathe our Governor too if that helps. Trumps a fuking clown, that's why. I can hold both thoughts. I don't mind the mask mandate. Its very little to ask for the chance I'm infected and could spread it to others. You lot who continue to fight it are the ones I don't understand but I guess its better to bitch about the lockdowns/restrictions than be part of the solution.
I don't need BJJ to save me from a gun. For the off chance someone breaks into my crib I'm fully loaded and trained. I dislike NYs laws on legal gun ownership. Besides our absurd amount of taxes its top of my list of things I wish I could change about NY, along w/ legalizing weed - but I have a card for the legal stuff.
Your semi auto won't help me/you much when you've been choked/knocked unconscious either. W/o being strapped you're just another potential victim. In a perfect world I could carry concealed (as I've previously done for many years) and be equip to handle a situation w/my hands but this is where I'm at.☻/

The solution is not masks and lockdowns even science proves this.
The best thing anyone can do is use a tissue or your fuking shirt when sneezing (is it really that fuking hard?) and just wash hands before touching face.
Trump does not believe the entire country should suffer for people who can’t do this, and if someone scared they are gonna get sneezed on, they should stay home.
Btw choke hold don’t always work, I can resist some chokes even by mma guys (I know a few), (not all yet) but working on it.
