Do you have a soy allergy? If so then you definitely need to make sure you purchase from a reputable brand/facility.

I buy a lot of the bodybuilding.com Signature Line whey protein blend (or 100% isolate), tastes great and great macros. Dymatize has a 100% whey protein product that does not have soy, although I haven't used in a couple years so I can't comment on the flavor. You could look in to other brands like Cellucor, BPI, Controlled Labs, and Optimum Nutrition.

No soy allergy I just heard it was best to try and stay away from proteins with soy. I’ll have to check out the dymatize protein. Thank you !!

Soy in protein has no real impact on men, that's complete broscience. And personally i'd opt for the bodybuilding.com protein. I'm very picky and they make great stuff.

Most likely. A lot of the brick and mortar sales persons push a lot of broscience because either they are uneducated in the topics or they are trying to sell something.

Here's a pretty decent article from Will Brink about soy and bodybuilding. Takeaway: phytonutrients contained in soy have little to no impact on hormone circulation and production. They do not lower testosterone or raise estrogen to any significant amount.

Or, like most GNC employees and franchisees, they don't know know their ass from a hole in the ground and continue to perpetuate bad broscience.

Will also attest to BB.com's whey protein being good stuff. I've really been enjoying the oatmeal cookie flavor
