    Cardio 4x a week and still build muscle?

    I weight lift 5x a week and have been doing 25min cardio sessions 4x a week in the mornings. I only burn about 240-250 calories for the cardio and I make sure to eat a good amount in that day so i’m not in a huge deficit. Would this be ok to continue to do, and will it impact my muscle building goal in the gym if I’m still pushing hard and lifting heavy. Thanks!

    If you continue to make progress without overreaching prematurely then it's not a problem.

    What do I mean by that? If you can sustain that schedule without getting progressively more fatigued to the point where you have to have a break from lifting or your lifts start stalling out then it's fine.

    You realise that if your goal is fat loss, you can achieve the same by just eating less. There is no special fat loss benefit of cardio (it just swings your net calorie balance) but it obviously has other health related benefits.

    this. not trying to rag on OP, but she's apparently been stuck @ 130 pounds for the past few months. sometimes pops up with questions that have been answered in her previous threads

    maybe this question has been answered too, but i'll repeat: cardio does not kill your gains. the only scenario where it could happen, is if you didn't eat enough and the cardio put you in a deficit when you wanted to be in a surplus
