    Boat Bruh's GTFIH

So I think I am ready to buy a bigger boat...

    End goal...

I want to make the trip from the Florida Keys to the Bahamas by boat. I am currently looking at a 34' Baja Boss with 2 496 mercruiser's…

Any Miscers ever made this trip? What size boat did you do it in?

you'd be fine making that trip on a calm day or even moderate weather in a boat like that.

depending on where you want to go - probably two hours or so to get there.

google "florida keys to bahamas" and you will find 100 articles about making the trip, what to expect and recommendations.

Was going to shoot for something simple first like Miami to Bimini , Bahamas but would ultimately like to stretch it to Nassau

I live in the Palm Beach area of FL and have a bunch of friends that frequently take their boats to the Bahamas. Most have 30-42' center consoles and they just check the weather and go. The boat is big enough and has two engines so you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I did Ft Lauderdale to the Bahamas. We sailed though on a 50' catamaran that my parents lived on. It's a fun trip.
