2 checking accounts in 2 different banks

One is funded by my day job paycheck.
The other is funded by income from rental houses. I collect rent with a credit card reader, Square sends the money to this account.

Have you looked at local banks for better interest rates? I was using Wealthfront for high-interest savings, then found a local/regional bank that offers 2.5% on the first $5000. Perfect for my emergency fund.

I like Absolute Zero Fees and Minimums. With local banks they give you something but always have hidden fees and minimum balance requirements.
