    Non fat Greek yogurt

I know people talk about Greek yogurt for nutrition benefits, but I feel like not enough?!

I usually bought flavored yogurt and they were ok, but recently purchased a large container of plain non fat Greek yogurt. I liked it a lot, the rich creamy texture, but I was shocked to see 16 oz of protein per 100 calorie serving??

Seems like Greek yogurt is underrated. Is it because a lot of people don’t like the taste??

Yeah not sure where you got your belief from...

$1.6 billion market in the US alone doesn't sound like its not popular.

F4ge 5% is the only greek yoghurt I will eat. Skyr just tastes so sour to me, as does f4ge 0%. Think it's something like 9g protein per 100g.

Fat free greek yogurt has about the worst texture of anything. Tastes like nivea cream. No thanks.

Non fat greek yogurt was one of my main source of protein as I was vegetarian till yesterday when I started eating egg whites. I can still eat more yogurt than egg whites anytime. I usually buy f a g e and Siggi's as they have both 18 gms in a single cup. I just add it to my smoothies.

I use unflavored fat free yogurts for smoothies but if you dont mind sugar and fat then Trader joes, Wallaby and Siggi's have great taste. I also like Chobani drinkable yogurts.

I buy a cheap natural "greek style" yogurt. It doesn't have as much protein in it as one of your fancy ones above - but I can just have more of my protein powder to make up for it, it's the same stuff after all.

All yogurts have 12-18 gms of protein and its natural. You can make yogurt at home its just 3 steps. Boil milk, cool it and add yogurt with live active cultures to it. Every time leave some yogurt to add it to milk and make more. Then add berries/cookies/granola to it for flavor.
Yogurt is made from bacteria, once you add yogurt to milk, your milk has this bacteria that converts it to yogurt in few days. Yogurt also starts getting sour and changes color as bacteria grows and starts smelling worse. Home made yogurt you should not consume if its too old.

I think the non-fat ones are far too sour but F a g e 2% works really well for me, I have that for lunch 4-5 times a week. Stats are pretty amazing.
