    Had a stressful week while on cut, how much muscle have I lost?

    I am currently on a cut. I’m cutting gradually and eating 2100-2400 cals everyday which is the goal. I’ve had some personal problems and I’ve had times where I’ve had to eat super later like at 3am just to get around my protein goal. Stress has caused my appetite to suppress itself. I was 174-175lbs before the stressful week and I have been eating 1600-1900 cals and maybe 1400 on one of the days during this week. I’m currently at around 171-172lbs. How much muscle do you think I’ve lost? I’ve also messed up my sleeping schedule which is killing me. I’ve got only around 6 hours of sleep. One night I only got 4.

    If anyone actually posts a number, it will have been pulled out of thin air.

    It could be some, it could be none. It's only 1 week. It's too short a timespan to make any kind of meaningful measurements like weight, strength etc.

    Likely to be none. Takes longer then a week to lose muscle so it completes depends how the other weeks have been over the last 1-2 months.

    You lost three pounds in a week and want to know how much was muscle?

    Were you lifting weights during the week? If you were then probably very little of it was muscle loss. If you weren't stressing the muscles throughout the week then possibly a bit more but frankly one week of even a deep deficit with no lifting isn't going to be all that bad.
