4 Foods essentail to a healthy bodybuilding diet

4 Foods essential to a healthy bodybuilding diet
Let's take a look at some foods that I feel are essential to a bodybuilding diet. Some of them are for health reasons whilst others are there for their anabolic muscle-building properties. You are welcome to continue the list.

    1. Fresh milk
Milk has got to be the heart and soul of my bodybuilding diet. I attribute a lot of my gains to it. However, I don’t just drink ordinary milk from the supermarket. I really feel that a good quality raw milk from the health food store is a much better option if you are trying to get big. The proteins are still intact as the milk has not been heated.

    2. Eggs
Eggs are like a powerhouse of protein and essential fats. Eggs have got a bad wrap in recent years from people who are worried about cholesterol and for this reason, they recommend you do not eat too many egg yolks. I am not sure this information is correct but it is better to err on the side of caution. One thing is for sure though; eggs are a must for any bodybuilders diet. Try and eat them raw in a protein shake with some milk and fruit. Perfect.

    3. Water
If you are eating large amounts of protein you need to keep your kidneys healthy by drinking lots of water. This helps flush out a lot of the junk and makes your body’s cells function a lot better. Many bodybuilders say you should drink up to four liters a day.

    4. Bananas
Although this is not a typical “bodybuilding food” I have found them to be quite special. Bananas are full of potassium as well as a whole host of other nutrients. They are probably the most beneficial fruit that exists and they should be eaten daily. Keeping your body healthy is very important.
    Everything is possible!

    No individual food is essential

Water is essential - although it isn't technically a food.

Someone could get jacked as hell and never eat any of the other 3 foods.

Don't quit your day job (hopefully you're not a dietitian). Nothing you've said here is worthwhile information. In fact it does the opposite and can mislead someone who's new to dieting and exercise.

Lol you guys are being a little hard on OP.

Yes, no good/bad food and lots of different diets can work.

But OP didn't post anything bad IMO - milk, eggs, water, banana - not very controversial or unhealthy.

Only way he's doing any harm is by possibly encouraging someone with lactose intolerance to drink milk lol.

Well, he didn't necessarily say anything bad but the harm comes from encouraging the thought of certain foods being absolutely essential in a diet.

We both know how many threads pop up daily about having to only eat "clean" foods and the restriction of other foods deemed as "bad". Only misinforming the misinformed further.

Op this is game changing for me. After reading your post this is now all im eating. I have 6 bananas with 8 eggs in a cereal bowl mixed with milk 4 times a day. I take out the yolk in 6 of the eggs too err on the side of caution. I also drink 5 gallons of water a day. My squat has already went up 100lbs doing this. Only side effect is i have to have a piss after every set i do when im working out, but i class this as good cardio walking back and forward to the toilet. Thank you for you very informative post and i appreciate the knowledge and wisdom you have shown.

True his proclamation of it being "essential" is stoopid.

But he also started a thread with "breakfast for building muscle" or something so I think he is just really excited about eating to build muscle. I wouldn't take it literally.
