Andre the Giant Documentary *much watch

I really enjoyed this new documentary on Andre the Giant. From his youth to who he really was, his fights, drinking, to his death this was very well done. Definitely recommend.

    HBO Special

What a stupid argument to make.
As I recall it he made more frequent appearances in movies after then (even if small ones).

I’d say it was a fair assessment. They were talking about his wrestling career specifically In WWF where he himself hated having to be introduced as a villain instead of a hero’s welcome every time he came into a town. He had no value to himself. Andre resented Vince for keeping the WWF going beyond him. He was done. He wrestled Hogan a bit more after WM3. Beyond that the career was done.

He worked Japan I believe as far into December 1992. Although constantly in pain according to his best friend Tim White.

Ah so much to learn have you young padawan. Stick with me and I can educate you. I know literally everything there is to know about wrestling history.

The HBO documentary is a year old or more. It was amazing. They had a segment with Robin Wright were she stated, "Andre was in so sick and in so much pain they had to lower her down with wiring so he could catch/hold her."

Snuka or Iron Sheik, Who was better in the ring on the mic and overall?

What, what, what? I don’t get how anyone could dispute the fact that when it comes to knowledge I am like The Genius and Mr. Perfect rolled into one.

Goobledy Gooker (hector Guerrero) vs. Xanta Klaus (balls Mahoney). Who was the better holiday season gimmick wrestler and why?

I’d take Sheik any day. I marked out over Snuka in the mid 80’s like everyone else but I prefer Col. Mustafa’s suplexes and camel clutch and much better promos. He also dethroned Backlund. Jimmy couldn’t beat Bob or Don for their titles
