    Truck vs Car

So I really have the itch to get back in a Car for a daily driver. Been looking at Charger, Challenger R/t. Camaro SS, Mustang GT.

I have a 4 door crew cab f-150 right now. Truck is the 5.0/10-speed combo. It's fun to drive but I miss driving something sporty. Only thing is that I need room for a car seat.

For those of you who went from Truck to Car...do you miss it. Do you miss not having a truck?

I can't comment because i never "owned" a truck. Never been in trucks, never will.

But i will say that of those cars you listed, the charger would be the best one.

Camaro has chitty visibility and NO room. It's a big car but inside you're cramped. If you're claustrophobic m the camaro gives you that feeling.

Mustang GT, awesome car but again backseat not that usable. At least for getting in and out for your kid. Plus the engine tick is concerning.

Challenger, awesome car but again like the above about backseat not that usable.

Charger is the best. 4 doors, huge backseat, lots of interior space. The best visibility of all the cars. Looks great. Very popular.

I just leased a charger scat pack. I pick it up in a couple of weeks. Or i may wait until this whole virus thing slows down before i go over there to finalize the paperwork and pick it up. Not in a huge rush but they can't sell it since i already put a deposit. And if they do, i'll get a hellcat, phuck it lol

I'm really thinking about the R/T Daytona package. I will never race anyone the 5.7 sounds good, seems fun to drive. plus beats audio, sunroof, heated and cooled seats. All that good jazz.

Just a warning if you get the 5.7. That V8 life, the torque, the sound, is VERY addicting and you might find yourself wanting a scatpack (or a 392 daytona) with the 6.4 not too long after getting the 5.7 RT.

If you don't care for performance, then you can get the GT which is a 6cyl but comes in AWD if you need it for winters.

Most new cars these days has all the necessary luxuries you would want/need for the everyday commute.

I love having both, but if I have to have one it’s a truck because of versatility. I hear you regarding a sports car , as I sold my 78TA about 6 years ago and really miss going for a Saturday cruise in the mountains

My current truck, Ford 2016 lariat . spray in box liner , back flip tonneau cover

I went from a truck, to a few cars, now back in a truck. I prefer a truck. I use the bed too much to do without.

I have both the challenger and the ram. And it’s tough to say it but I’d keep the ram if I had to go with one vehicle.

Big v8 2-door cars aren’t ideal for daily driving. Especially if you get winter conditions in your area. You will miss the truck.

All depends on your lifestyle. If you’re driving a big truck just because America, I would get a car ASAP. I have both, but if I had to have one it would be a truck. I have trailers and boats and toys and do a lot of outdoor stuff and have big dogs and only having a car wouldn’t work. But if you don’t do those, I don’t think I’d miss it. I’d much rather be in a high hp car

I spend half my time with bikes or snowmobile/timbersled in the bed so I'd never swap. It's nice having the bike pad on the rear tailgate and being able to shuttle 6+ bikes where ever we go. Also nice for skis and snowboards to go back there along with coolers and gear when road tripping.

Get a project car. Truck for DD all day every day. Nothing a car can do that a truck can't, but plenty of things a truck can do a car can't. As far as handling and such, you are on pubic roads, chill the fuk out.

I'm not a truck person at all, but the Dodge Durango looks damn good and it comes with the 6.4 Hemi +AWD. And there's rumors of Dodge putting the Hellcat engine inside of it

    Look into that op

Also don't go R/T for the Charger or Challenger. You want the R/T Scat Pack or 392 with the 6.4. I'm sure the R/T is fine and it's definitely faster than what I have, but the 6.4 is the perfect balance for the street

Nothing wrong with having fun on public roads. Depending on where you live there's a lot of barren roads with open field of view

I just went and test drove an R/T...no thanks jeff. My 5.0/10-speed combo in my truck with a 93 custom tune felt wayyy faster.

Guess I'm gonna try and start planning a 2/4 drop and build a performence truck and maybe do some interior upgrade.
